In the U.S., the city of Jacksonville, Florida, is creating jobs in the oil and gas industry in a way you would never imagine. GE (General Electric) is setting up a manufacturing plant and promising to hire 500 permanent employees. With an average salary of $45,850, the life of oil and gas aspirants couldn’t get better in Jacksonville.

The mayor of Jacksonville, Mayor Alvin Brown, in a statement on a news channel mentioned:
“We competed against a number of other communities for this great economic opportunity, and we won. It shows that Jacksonville is a great place to do business. I want to thank the City Council for its support, as well as our many partners who helped us secure these jobs for Jacksonville.”
This will provide employment and will add another feather in the cap for the U.S. oil and gas industry.
