- Open to Re-location – When you are on job-hunt, and if you are a part of recession, you have to keep yourself flexible on your location choice. Imagine you are in the U.S. and are a part of the team that is being laid off or aspiring to make a career in the oil and gas industry. You must be open to re-locating to places where oil and gas hiring is going on.
- Getting Into The Industry Is Important – As a job seeker, living in a place where there is oil and gas recession, you should be glad to get into a company. With companies laying off 100s of employees in the U.S. get into a company that is willing to hire you, irrespective of the location.
There are other countries, apart from U.S. that are hiring for oil and gas industry. You have to be open in exploring these opportunities and be flexible in taking up challenging positions.
