Norway Will Recruit 20,000 Oil And Gas Workers By 2020

According to the findings of another report prepared by the Norwegian Oil And Gas Association, the oil and gas industry in Norway will be recruiting close to 20,000 workers by the year 2020. This is great news for students who have joined technical courses this year, in 2016 and will be graduating in the year 2020.

“A new report by the International Research Institute of Stavanger showed that oil and gas industry will need to recruit more than 20,000 workers by 2020 in Norway, the Norwegian Oil and Gas Association said March 10.

Norway will open its doors to candidates looking for oil and gas jobs as oil and gas prices are expected to stabilize by then.

The report forecasts 13,000 new recruitment, plus replacement for 9,000 retiring workers. Overall demand for new recruitment will be 22,000 employees.”
