Product Knowledge

Needless to say, QA/QC engineers need to know their products inside and out. By constantly testing and making improvements, these engineers get to know every aspect of a product, ensuring their knowledge can be passed on to design engineers and others involved in the project. A common trait of many engineers, creativity is extremely important for QA/QC engineers. Determination and Diplomacy

Of all the skills needed for this job, these two work hand-in-hand to make the process go as smoothly as possible. Along with this, diplomacy needs to be used at all times when discussing projects with designers, since many of them may have spent several years working on these projects. Being able to communicate concerns and challenges without creating tension within the team can not only keep team members happy, but also ensure the project stays on time and budget.
