Oklahoma has always depended on the oil and gas industry for income. People remember Oklahoma City in the 1980s when the 20% of the state’s total income depended on the oil and gas industry. But how has that affected the city in today’s day and age.

The recession of Oklahoma has lasted for almost 25 years. But the city and the industry must be   aware that no industry is as big as it may seem to be to survive in Oklahoma. The people have to be  prepared to face a 10% dip in the economic condition in case if the oil and gas industry gets affected.
