1.Offshore Driller

Perhaps the most common and well-known oil or gas job is an offshore driller. This person works at sea on an oil rig. Their responsibilities include supervising and performing the drilling and well control. He or she is ultimately responsible for the entire safety of the operation, which includes the drilling-control system, pipe-handling system, drawworks, mud-circulating systems, and blow-out prevention equipment. The driller must ensure that all parts of the rig are being run in accordance with the operating procedures. 2.Pipe Fitter

A pipe fitter is responsible for the maintenance and repairing of the pumping stations and pipelines. This includes hundreds of miles of pipes, as well as storage tanks.
